Blausen: Senior Web Developer
(Houston, TX) Blausen is looking for a highly-skilled Senior Web Developer. The opportunity includes maintaining the design and code of all three of Blausen’s websites including: Blausen Medical, Blausen Media, and Blausen Legal, as well as Blausen’s Human Atlas — a flash-based video player. The role would also include the management and creation of client websites.
We need a highly ambitious self-starter that can also work well in team environments, and is always willing to learn more.
Skills:
Ability to export graphics for the web.
Extensive knowledge slicing and building standards-based semantic table-less xhtml/css web layouts
Ability to hand code websites with out WYSIWYG code-editors.
Experience w/ JavaScript, and scripting libraries.
Experience in AJAX and “Web 2.0” technologies
Experience in Flash and ActionScript 2.0 is a must. Knowledge in ActionScript 3.0 is a huge plus.
Experience developing PHP/MySQL apps
Experience in building LAMP sites.
* A great eye for design is a plus.
Your technical skills are important, but your ability to hit the ground running and pick up new concepts is also very important.

TelTech: Freelance writer for Web 2.0 site (Anywhere)
We are launching a new site for a mobile app and looking for a fun, creative writer to write copy for the new website (i.e “features”, “how it works”, etc..), that will encourage potential clients to signup for an account while at the same time not confusing them with too much verbiage or technical details.
Style of writing that we are looking for is fun, hip, but also professional.
We would also be looking for some insight on flow and usability of the site.
